Ordering & Products

Are your candles handmade?

Yes. Every Red Belly candle is hand-poured in small batches at our workshop in Rush, Co. Dublin.

What are your candles made from?

We use quality wax and skilfully blended fragrance oils, hand-poured into reusable glass vessels. If you'd like more detail on a specific candle, just get in touch and we're happy to help.

What colour are the candle jars?

Regular jars are always clear. Large jars are available in clear, white, or black.

Shipping & Collection

Do you ship outside Ireland?

We currently ship within Ireland only. If you're outside Ireland and would like to place an order, contact us at redbellycandles@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do.

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

At checkout you can choose Standard shipping (3-5 business days, €6.00, free on orders over €65.00) or Express shipping (1-2 business days, €9.00). Full details are on our Shipping Policy page.

Can I collect my order in person?

Yes. If you're near Rush, Co. Dublin, choose local pickup at checkout at no charge. We'll email you the exact pickup address once your order is confirmed.

Returns & Candle Care

What's your return policy?

We offer a 14-day return policy from the day you receive your order. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. To start a return, email us at redbellycandles@gmail.com and we'll guide you through the next steps.

My order arrived damaged — what do I do?

We're sorry to hear that. Email us at redbellycandles@gmail.com with a photo of the damage and your order number, and we'll sort out a replacement or refund as quickly as we can.

How do I get the best burn from my candle?

On the first burn, let the wax pool across the full surface (usually 2-3 hours) to help prevent tunnelling. Trim the wick to about 5mm before each burn, keep burns to a maximum of 4 hours at a time, and always burn on a heat-resistant surface away from draughts, curtains, and anything flammable.
